Nat is a smart woman and I hope with every bit of me she’s being sarcastic and give her the benefit of the doubt
Natalie Portman to Zhang Ziyi (x)
I love the smell of casual racism in the morning.

Oh my goodness.

ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh shit.
Sorry, but if you hate Sansa, you are a sexist in my eyes. The only crime she’s ever committed was being a young girl.
BTW, she outlives all your favorite characters with no blood on her hands.

And that’s something worth noting in a story where everyone dies.

It’s not looking so good so far for the character. Two speaking lines in season 2 so far. Doesn’t sound like the producers like Sandor Clegane much at all.
I’m not even a book purist, like I enjoyed the Arya-Tywin scene, but this whole thing has been quite depressing.

Oh, you mean botched THAT way.
Lol how did you think I meant it?
Dear HBO,
Fuck you. Fuck you and fuck your mother and fuck the fucking horse you fucking rode in on.
It will be episode 5 next week and Sansa had what? 10 minutes of screentime? Sandor had maybe 3?
You didn’t cut Arya & Gendry’s friendship or Dany & Jorah’s. Why is Sansa treated this way? And Sandor was always quite popular in the book fandom :(
Both Sophie & Rory are amazing actors.
YOU HAVE NO REASON TO BOYCOTT THEM.
THAT’S SO UNFAIR!!!!!!!! :(
Ok, D&D made the first season an almost PERFECT adaptation of book 1. And now it’s clear to me why they started it out like that: to get the fanbase hooked. And once they got everyone hooked on it, they decided to deviate from the books more and more, with everyone helpless to give up on it…
^this^

Last season was pretty much flawless, not feeling it completely this season, just.. something D:
Samsies. Not enough Sansa, that’s the problem
Only thing good about Season 2 of Game of Thrones is the music tbh
headtrip-honey-asoiaf reblogged your post: eighttwenty replied to your post: fuck this shit…
LOL WAIT WHAT WHAT
I don’t even know anymore. What is feminism and how do you do
The thing I love about ASOIAF is that it has many varied female characters who are multi-layered and complex. None are reduced to one note characters.
But the show, which did a heavy “we’re a feminist show!” push before the premiere, has reduced many of those very women to one note characters, or at the very least completely changed their characters.
The ones that seem to be finding favor with the showrunners are the badasses and sexy ones. So……how are we feminist, now?
Ahhh the beauty of your logic, I want to bask in it.

They could be using Ros’ screen time to develop the characters who deserve to be developed.
EXACTLY!! Like Sansa, who is in dire need of development atm

The bit about the whores, I cannot argue with. They have been excessive with whores, and I completely understand where you are coming from, now.
thank goodness. The books are just so much better and the show pales in comparison.

The women in this book or show, whichever one you follow, are just as strong, willful, and intense as the men. Perhaps even stronger. Behind almost every man, a woman is pulling their strings.
No. The women in the books are strong. The women in the show have been reduced to one-dimensional characters driven by nothing more than being a mother or just plain getting abused in front of people.
Or being prostitutes. Can’t forget how much screen time the whores are getting.
